Grantee Spotlight: Culture Shift Collective

We are proud to support Culture Shift Collective (CSC), a civic engagement organization harnessing the power of culture, creativity, and digital platforms to strengthen community impact.

Co-founded by Faith Campbell and Kwesi Chappin, CSC is creating a national infrastructure that equips Black influencers—such as DJs, party promoters, creators, and community connectors—with organizing skills, political education, and digital strategies to transform cultural influence into civic power.

Through their six-month apprenticeship program, “Party Promoters for Civic Impact,” CSC helps influencers mobilize their communities, shift narratives, and drive meaningful change rooted in lived experiences. The program focuses on collaborative media initiatives and trains participants in equity and accountability.
