5G is the fastest-growing mobile network technology due to its significantly faster speeds, lower latency, and broader capacity compared to its predecessors like 4G. This translates to a range of benefits for users and businesses alike, driving its adoption and growth.

Mission Telecom offers service on T-Mobile’s network in Hawaii. We also offer service in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. T-Mobile does offer some service in Alaska, but we do not recommend service without checking our coverage and speed test maps in advance.

T-Mobile, our network partner, currently does not have a network in American Samoa and Guam.

T-Mobile has the most extensive, fastest, and most-awarded wireless network, so you will rarely need roaming. However, our rate plan does feature domestic roaming in some areas where T-Mobile does not have network infrastructure.

International roaming is not currently included.

We currently offer two plans: a data-only Mobile Broadband Plan and a Tablet Plan.

Both plans are unlimited and have no data cap.

Our Mobile Broadband Plan also features the highest priority of any T-Mobile mobile data plan.

We offer unlimited plans starting at $20, with discounts depending on volume without a multi-year commitment.

We are a broadband spectrum license holder. We lease our spectrum to a subsidiary of T-Mobile, which is used to build out their Ultra Capacity 5G network now covering 300 million people.

Mission Telecom is a 2.5 GHz / Educational Broadband Service spectrum license holder. Our founder applied for and was awarded seven spectrum licenses in the 1980s.

Network speeds depend upon the device being used and the area's network coverage. Some devices are 4G only, and others are 5G compatible.

We use a crowdsourced speed test map and an FCC signal strength map to help us determine what the network is like in your area.

We offer service in any location that T-Mobile offers service, which is the largest, fastest, and most-awarded 5G network in the U.S.

As of May 2024, T-Mobile's fastest 5G network, called Ultra Capacity, covered 300 million people and more than double the square miles of similar mid-band 5G networks.

Average speeds on the Ultra Capacity network were over 350 Mbps in some major cities and large towns.

Also, as of May 2024, T-Mobile's low-band 5G network, called Extended Range, covered 330 million people.

Our services are data-only. Our product roadmap includes offering voice and SMS services in the near future. Meanwhile, apps like WhatsApp, Signal, and Factime work with our data services.

Mission Telecom can provide service on any T-Mobile-compatible device that can access 2.5 GHz spectrum. Nearly all T-Mobile devices, even from other carriers, fall into this category.

Mission Telecom sells directly to schools, libraries, nonprofits, and social welfare organizations. We do not sell directly to businesses or individuals.
